Scheduling: Session fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. No date is reserved until the contract and deposit are received. With permission from Photographer, packages may be paid in two 50% installments, the first due at booking and the second due no less than two weeks (14 days) before the scheduled session date. In the event Client fails to remit payment as specified, the Photographer shall have the right to immediately cancel the scheduled session and will not reschedule the session
until all monies are paid.
If for any reason Client cancels this contract before the session date, Photographer will keep the deposit. Credit may be applied to a portrait session within one year of original date provided Photographer is available. Rescheduled sessions due to contract cancellation will be subject to Photographer availability and current rates at the time of re-booking.
Pricing: Prices are subject to change and are not guaranteed until contract has been signed. Print and product prices at the time of booking are valid for thirty (30) days after the Client gallery is posted after which all items will be offered at current rates. Credit vouchers have no cash value and may only be applied toward merchandise purchased from Photographer. All print/product credits must be used within six (6) months of web gallery posting or Photographer may substitute a product of reasonable
value to fulfill any outstanding credit balance.
Images: The Client will receive an online viewing gallery three weeks after the session presenting 50-60 final edited images in color or black and white at Photographer's artistic discretion. Client may request further retouching or changes for an additional charge. Viewing gallery will remain open for ordering for four weeks.
Client agrees to purchase prints directly from Photographer unless in possession of high-resolution digital files. If high-resolution digital files are purchased, a written release will be supplied granting rights for personal use. Photographer is not responsible for the quality of any prints the Client chooses to order from purchased digital files using a third-party printing company.
Copyright: Karin Curtis/Rockit Photography retains full copyright to all images provided, per USC Title 17 (US Copyright Law. Client agrees not to take images from Photographer’s website and/or utilize the images for personal use. It is a violation of federal copyright law to copy, scan, or allow photographs the Photographer has created to be reprinted, duplicated, digitally reproduced, copied, scanned, or altered (digitally or otherwise), without the Photographer’s express written permission.
Should Photographer become aware of reproduction without permission, Client will remit a usage fee of $300 per image, per usage, to Photographer.
MODEL RELEASE
I hereby grant to Karin Curtis and Rockit Photography, and his or her legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right with regards to the photographs that he/she has taken of me and/or my minor child(ren), or in which I and/or my minor child(ren) may be included:
a) To use and publish said photographs for editorial trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium, including use on the photographer’s web site and blog; and to alter the same without restriction. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product of advertising;
b) To copyright the same in the photographer’s name;
c) To use my and/or my minor child(ren)’s name(s) in conjunction therewith if he/she decides.
I hereby release photographer and his or her legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. This is a binding legal document and is made for valuable consideration.
